- Pico do Carvão and crater viewpoints
Stop at Pico do Carvão before the short walk to Lagoa do Canário. Continue to Vista do Rei. Stop at Cerrado das Freiras and Lagoa de Santiago on the way down.
- Sete Cidades lakes and village
Stop at the bridge between the lakes. Visit São Nicolau church. There's time for a snack or a toilet stop in the village.
- Escalvado viewpoint 20 min
Look across the ocean towards Ferraria and Mosteiros.
- Return to your accommodation 40 min
Take the south coast road back to your accommodation.
