I'd book this if you want crater dirt tracks in a half day. The jeep trip takes 3 to 4 hours. It starts at €48 per adult. Groups can reach fifty people.
The route follows the crater rim. You stop at São Nicolau church in the village. There's time for a coffee. The bridge gives you views of both lakes.
Pickup covers most Ponta Delgada hotels. Food and drinks aren't included. If all Land Rovers are full, a smaller SUV can replace them.

- Sete Cidades caldera 40 min
Continue through the Sete Cidades caldera.
- Return to Ponta Delgada
