I'd book this if you want crater tracks and Lagoa do Fogo. The jeep trip takes 8 hours. It starts at €90 per adult with lunch and drinks.
The route starts around the Sete Cidades crater rim. You then visit the lakes. Pico da Barrosa comes later. Lagoa do Fogo is the final viewpoint.
Give your Ponta Delgada hotel name when booking. Cruise pickup is at the Portas do Mar terminal. Groups can reach fifty people. If all Land Rovers are full, a smaller SUV can replace them.

- Sete Cidades and Muro das Nove Janelas
Visit the lakes inside the Sete Cidades crater. Pass Muro das Nove Janelas on the route.
- Pico da Barrosa 30 min
Stop at Pico da Barrosa, 947 m above sea level. The viewpoint looks across the island and ocean.
- Lagoa do Fogo viewpoint 30 min
See Lagoa do Fogo from the viewpoint above the lake.
- Return to Ponta Delgada
Return to your pickup point after the tour.

On this tour we visit both the western and central craters. In the western crater of Sete Cidades we vistit stunning views at 650 meters above sea level on the the rim of the crater. We view below us the twin lake with the princesses and sheppards tears. This crater is one of the seven wonders of Portugal and is a must see. Lunch and drinks in a local restaurante is included.
