I'd book this if you want a buggy with four seats. This private tour takes 3.5 hours. Prices start at €79 per adult. You drive on roads and dirt tracks.

Meet for driving and safety instructions before setting off.
- Muro das Nove Janelas 20 min
Stop at the aqueduct near Serra Devassa.
- Viewpoint at 845 m 30 min
Look over Lagoa de Santiago and Lagoa Rasa. You can also see Lagoa Verde and Lagoa Azul.
- Miradouro das Cumeeiras 30 min
Stop above the Sete Cidades crater. The viewpoint also looks towards the north coast.
- Sete Cidades lakes 60 min
Visit the crater with its connected blue and green lakes.
- Return to Pico da Pedra 10 min
Finish at the starting point in Pico da Pedra.
