Plan your visit
Getting around
Flores is 16.6 km long and up to 12.2 km wide. The 13.2 km Lajedo to Fajã Grande walk is linear. I’d arrange the return journey before setting off.
How long to stay
Fajã de Lopo Vaz is a 3.4 km walk taking 2 hours. I’d leave separate time for the waterfall lake and Lagoa Funda.
