I'd book this if you want to pedal between viewpoints. The e-bike ride takes 3 to 4 hours. It starts at €75 per adult. Groups are limited to eight.
You ride around the crater rim. Then you descend to the village and lakes. The motor helps on the climb back. You can stop at Lagoa de Santiago.
You'll need to reach the car park yourself. Children need a minimum height of 4 ft 11 in. At least two riders must join to guarantee the trip. Bottled water isn't included.

At the Sete Cidades roundabout, take the exit marked P. Follow the road onto gravel and red dirt to the car park.
There is no hotel pickup.

Itinerary
- Sete Cidades car park
Follow the P sign at the roundabout. Meet in the car park along the gravel and red dirt road.
- Vista do Rei 5 min
Ride along the crater rim. Stop at Vista do Rei to look across Sete Cidades.
- São Nicolau church and the village
Descend into the crater. Visit São Nicolau church and Sete Cidades village.
- The lakes and environmental complex
Visit the bridge between Lagoa Verde and Lagoa Azul. Continue along the lakeside to the environmental complex.
- Climb back past Lagoa de Santiago
Climb back on the concrete road with help from the motor. You can pause at Lagoa de Santiago on the way up.
- Return to the car park
Finish the ride at the starting point.

Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the trip starts. Later cancellations get no refund. Last-minute bookings are confirmed by the operator; earlier bookings are confirmed at once.

Amazing e-bike ride on the rim top of the main Volcano Crater of Sete Cidades. You will discover the best views/sights of the area and have the opportunity to bike down inside the a collapsed volcano and visit inside it the green and the blue lakes and the old Village. On the way up and back to our starting point by a cement road and you will have the opportunity to stop and the amazing Santiago Lake.
